I went to the grocery store tonight…along with every other person in the county.  I went for things I might actually need were I to get snowed in tomorrow (on the first day of spring).  You know, bread, milk, eggs, fruit, vegetables.  It makes sense to me.

This does not: the person in front of me bought 3 cases of beer, 7 2 liter bottles of orange soda, 4 (four!) packages of oreos and 2 boxes of capri sun.  Really??  I know I probably sound a little judgemental, but the truth is I just don’t get it!

The 3 cases of beer, I automatically assumed “Single Guy prepares for snowstorm”.

But that’s a lot of oreos, so now I’m thinking “Single Guy having friends over to watch basketball tomorrow”

The only thing that is missing is the toilet paper. Then I’d be convinced it was a single guy.

Yeah, I can’t even form a sentence, just making noises like “Gah” and “Wha” over here.

Why did I automatically think it was a guy in front of you? It definitely doesn’t seem like my grocery list…ever! LOL

One snow storm a few years ago, I called and asked my kids if there was anything I NEEDED to pick up on my way home from work in case we were snowed in. The serious answer I received from my son was Ice Cream and Oreo’s. –It does make a snowed in day better, but I didn’t go just for those items. I am sure I bought bread and milk too.

Maybe she already had the essentials…milk, bread, veggies. Maaybe she….Nevermind i was going to give her the benefit of the doubt but then i remebered the cases of beer. People are weird.

Ewwww, is orange soda THAT good??? I’m guessing there were a bunch of crazy (or soon to be crazy) children in that house and a couple of parents that did not want to be snowed in with aforementioned crazy children!
